Born in Nopa, for Nopa.
We are a local family with a kiddo under the age of one. Living in San Francisco, we quickly realized two things: kids outgrow toys at lightning speed, and Nopa apartments don’t grow to match.
We started Toy Library SF because we believe sustainability should be practical. Instead of buying a giant wooden activity cube that your child will use for three months and then store in a closet for three years, why not share it?
The “Toy Retirement” Philosophy
We don’t want toys to end up in a landfill just because they’ve “graduated” from our library. When toys reach the end of their library life, we hope to host “Toy Retirement” moments—finding them permanent homes in the community.
