If you’ve ever looked around your home and thought, How did we end up with so many toys?—you’re not alone.
Kids grow fast. Interests change fast. And a lot of toys that still have plenty of life left end up stored away, passed around in a rush, or tossed when families run out of space.
Toy Library San Francisco is our attempt at a simple idea:
What if borrowing toys was as normal as borrowing books?
A toy library keeps great toys in circulation. Families use what fits their child’s current stage, then return it so someone else can enjoy it next. That means:
- Less waste (and fewer toys bought that only get used for a short window)
- Less clutter at home
- More community—because sharing tends to bring people together
We’re starting small: pop-ups in San Francisco, focused on ages 0–5, and building the workflow carefully so it actually works for real families.
We’re still in the planning phase, so the best way to support this right now is simple:
Subscribe for updates.
We’ll email about once a month with progress, pop-up announcements, and next steps.
Thanks for being here at the beginning. This is the fun part—turning an idea into something that exists.
